Hams Caves: adventure in the depths

Enter an underground world of magic and mystery at the impressive Cuevas dels Hams.

Discover the Hams Caves, one of Mallorca's main attractions, and immerse yourself in their history and formation. Divided into three areas, they offer a fascinating tour.

The Round Cave houses a lush botanical garden with native birds in the wild and a special microclimate.

The Blue Cave, with its innovative LED lighting, presents the documentary Discovering the Past, which narrates the history of Mallorca and the origin of the caves. In its auditorium, the audiovisual show GENESIS recreates the evolution of the universe from the Big Bang to the present day.

The Classic Cave has 12 galleries and the underground lake Mar de Venecia, where an unforgettable musical show is offered.

The tour includes a visit to an emblematic Mallorcan pearl shop, a pioneer in the manufacture of artificial pearls for over a century.

• Estimated duration: Approximately 6 hours from the main meeting point or your pick-up location.
• Accessibility: Suitable for all ages. The caves route is about 1200 m with approximately 250 steps. Handrails are available, but the caves are not wheelchair accessible. Other facilities, such as the bar and shop, are wheelchair accessible.
• Important: LED lighting highlights the Blue Columns, Fra Mauro Plains, and the mystical Hell Pit. The audiovisual time-lapse “Genesis, The Story of Life” is projected on the ancient rock walls. Schedules may change due to operational reasons or weather conditions.
• Pick-up: Complimentary pick-up is available in selected areas; see zone-specific information below.

— South Zone (Palma, Calvià, Can Pastilla, Arenal):

• The tour officially starts at 9:30h at Camino Escollera and ends around 14:30h at the same place. Please be at this meeting point 10 minutes before.
• Pick-up: Free service in selected hotels in the south zone.
• Route and visits: Bus transfer to the Hams Caves, guided cave tour including audiovisual projections and LED illumination highlighting natural formations.
• Complete experience: Bus transfer and guided cave visit with audiovisual show.

— North Zone (Pollença, Alcudia, Playa de Muro, Can Picafort):

• Pick-up: Free service in hotels within these towns.
• Route and visits: Bus transfer to the Hams Caves and Blue Cave, guided tour with audiovisual projections and LED lighting on rock formations.
• Complete experience: Bus transfer and guided cave visit with audiovisual experience.

— East Zone (Cala Rajada, Cala Mesquida, Cala Bona, Cala Millor, Sa Coma, S’Illot, Porto Colom, Cala d’Or, Porto Petro, Cala Murada, Colonia de Sant Jordi, Levante):

• Pick-up: Free service in hotels in these towns.
• Route and visits: Panoramic bus ride to the Hams and Blue Caves, guided tour highlighting formations with LED lighting and audiovisual projections.
• Complete experience: Bus transfer and guided cave visit with audiovisual show.

• Cancellations or modifications made up to 24 hours before departure time: 100% refund or free date change.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure: a medical certificate will be required to qualify for a refund or change.
• Without proof, 100% of the booking amount will be charged.

Schedules and itineraries may be subject to changes due to operational reasons, weather conditions or force majeure. In the event of cancellation by the company, and if rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
