The Cuevas del Drach is one of the best preserved underground wonders of Mallorca. Millions of years of nature have shaped these impressive underground worlds. The spectacles of light and colour together with the impressive stalagmites, stalactites and natural aquifers, make a visit to the caves an experience to remember. The Drach Caves are among the most visited caves in Europe and are considered the eighth wonder of the world. Stalactites, stalagmites and impressive galleries are a true spectacle for the senses. Lake Martel, one of the largest underground lakes in the world, is the setting for a programme of classical music combined with an impressive lighting system that will captivate you to the end. The temperature inside is very pleasant and constant throughout the year: 21 degrees Celsius.
The tour includes a visit and free time to enjoy one of the most picturesque fishing villages of the island, Porto Cristo. Located on the east coast of Mallorca, it has a natural harbour and a small sandy beach where you can relax in front of the blue-green sea. During your free time in Porto Cristo we can recommend restaurants and bars with traditional Mallorcan or Spanish food.
Finally, we will visit a Mallorcan pearl shop, which has more than a hundred years of experience in the manufacture of world renowned organic artificial pearls. Founded more than a century ago by a German engineer, the factory is a pioneer in the manufacture of artificial pearls in Europe.
